It's like a cross between an idle game and cultist simulator, but without the depth the world of Cultist simulator projects and with combats that mean you can't idle. The combat is something cultist simulator doesn't have but quickly becomes a tiresome chore rather than being the fun puzzle I think it's intended to be.

The art direction is decent and, where I arranged cards not to bump each other around, I did not experience the performance issues some others report. The bottom line though is that the gameplay is just not fun enough for me (mostly just waiting around for stuff to happen, or doing repetitive tasks to make them happen slightly faster) and there is no engaging story to keep you going either.

It's alright. I think it could be a great game if the UI wasn't so atrocious. It could do with a better diplomacy system, but that bit isn't really much worse than a lot of its competitors.

Definitely would not recommend for £50
