Fun little game. Buggy controls (ship kept firing thrusters and rotating despite no input) but overall, a cool concept of a game. Beat it in one sitting. If you have an evening free, give it a shot.

Early Access Review
I did not expect this.
I bought the game on a whim and figured it'd be some silly spaceship sim. Turns out, its a wonderfully crafted, immersive, chill, space-sim experience that I have enjoyed returning to. The gameplay loop is rock-solid (heh), as its not just rewarding, but there's a surprisingly high-skill ceiling that allows you to learn and get better. You'll start out flying very timidly and primarily using the helpful autopilot functions. Each rock will look the same and you won't know what rocks to go for or which pieces of ore you're looking at. But, with practice and experience you'll soon be piloting your craft like a leaf on the wind, blazin through the field, using your experience to find the rocks to go for. You can heavily customize your craft to fit your style, which is something the game actually allows. Though there are some upgrades that make your ships objectively better (i.e. more fuel rods = more power), the vast majority of the ship components purchasable all have their own pros and cons. The most expensive thruster system is not necessarily the Best in Slot. This approach to upgrades allows the player to make choices on how they want their ship to operate and let's them explore and go through the rather enjoyable process of balancing out their ship's stats. There doesn't seem to be any meta (yet?) in terms of what style works best. Also, as a professional musician... loved the vibe of the OST. Often I turn off a game's music to throw on a playlist of my choosing (especially for games like this) but I have yet to be bored of this one. Well-done. (the 11/4 time sig. intro music made me smile)

The ONLY issue I have found is there is a severe lack of information regarding game systems. How all the ship subsystems work and work together, how the mineral market works, what upgrades actually do, what the various stats on your HUD is for, etc etc etc. it is all a trial and error routine for the player, which could be extremely frustrating for some. I've had search online for basic gameplay questions and have found many people to have the same questions. There IS a small tutorial portion, but it is quite brief. And with systems this complex, it is sorely insufficient. On-boarding new players to the systems is vital in sim games. I would push the developer to work on providing in-game guides/tooltips/resources before the full release.
However, this did not stop me from playing the game and trying things out. The gameplay loop was enjoyable enough to push through this frustrating aspect. But I'm a bit of a masochist so...

Overall, I recommend trying it out! Give it a whirl. The game is offered at a cheap price for the hours of entertainment you're getting

If you want a Pixel Art program that is versatile, wholistic, and easy to use, this is the one.
Buy it.
It's worth it.

I obviously mistook this $50 product for the Halo series. THIS ONLY COMES with HALO REACH right now...with the 'promise' of more. Basically, this is a Pre-Order.
I am against this type of marketing scheme so I will be refunding it.

Can be buggy, it's not fully fleshed out yet ... but it's Early Access so you shouldn't expect a perfectly polished game. Despite these development quirks, I have spent hours upon hours with my friends and family surviving this Zombie Apocolypse and every new release comes with its new systems, rpg elements, building strategies, and character skill sets. We have LOVED this game and still continue playing.
As long as you go into it recognizing it's early access, I highly recommend this to anyone AND everyone.
