I'm about 8 hours in and on maybe my third colony. I'm feel I'm reaching the point where I'm starting to understand the game a lot more, as I have managed to keep this colony going without any major issues for a good while longer than any of the previous. I can see ahead of me I have a lot of work I need to do within my colony as I expand and grow it, the light of possibility shines bright on the horizon.

It does start off a bit tough (If you don't know what you're doing) but figuring that out has been a joy and I look forward to what the game has to offer as I progress my save and the challenges and rewards that will come with it.

If this sounds like the kind of experience you'd enjoy then I highly recommend you pick up this game. I cannot comment on the DLC at this time as I do not own it but I imagine it is as solid as the base game is.
