Great visceral combat system, nice voxel style graphics, fun and quirky dialogue, with endless replay value.

One of the best combat systems I've seen in this genre. Every battle requires skill and every enemy requires different tactics to beat. Customization actually matters in this game since it actually affects things like speed, stamina, inventory, and hitboxes. Dragon's Dogma is not a game for you if you're not into gameplay and more for and interesting world and story, since the story is pretty barebones besides the expansion area and endgame. One of my favorite features is the fact you can hire your friends' created partners called Pawns which you can use in battle, you can even give the Pawns items that they will take back to the creator. This game also has high replayability because of the builds you can make with the 9 given classes you can play as which all have their own feel. Definitely recommend this game especially if it's on sale.
