I still really like this game, but the grind is annoying sometimes, I feel like depending on just what you choose in the skill tree could make or break this game for you, the path on the tree is very open and that can lead you to get much less useful or progressing perks that really extend your game time and make you feel like you have to grind forever. Puzzles in some sections of the game though make you think a bit and is nice, the game I think should be cheaper especially since there hasn't been any content update or word from the dev in 5 years, but the game is good if you can get it on a good sale.

I originally gave this game a bad review because of a save issue that wasn't previously explained very well (this has been fixed and just more clearly points out that you auto save between junctions) but since then I've finished the main story and it makes me really happy and excited to have continued playing, the story really makes it feel real enough and believable to happen in the real world, and does a great job at leaving enough mystery, but not leaving you questioning every little thing. The only problem I ever encountered in the game is on a specific mission you are REQUIRED to bring a piece of equipment to continue the story, or you get softlocked, this hasn't been fixed for years and kinda stinks you can go to the location without realizing you are required to have brought the part, even if you don't use it in the actual mission, so you just have to abandon the run if you don't have it. Other than that though, this game is really great and has about 15-20 hours of gameplay for the main story, more or less if you decided to unlock everything for your car, but you can go forever on the endless mode which gets harder and harder, which is really fun. 9/10, would be 10/10 if I didn't get softlocked that one time.

Amazing game, super good especially when it exploded, felt really bad for the devs though that had to take on the demand of such a large audience with such a small studio. You guys did very well though.

Hope you guys do well with the 2nd game, I loved this game till it hit the garbage money cash grab peak, but the core game is still amazing, do well with the second by learning from your first!

Welp time to update this games review I guess, it's been a roller coaster of emotions, damn my weapons don't do anything, to: WE ARE SO BACK TIME TO FIGHT FOR DEMOCRACY. To then: Oh, cool, I am as strong as a paper straw that's sat in it's soda cup for a day and I can't do anything. then back again, currently the game is in a fine state, most weapons are great and getting better nothing really game breaking and the devs took the much needed time to fix a lotta big game breaking bugs in the previous review. The only gripe I have is I didn't get a new ish warbond for free even though I have like 60% of the warbond for free cause of the previous year, and because I got it for free, I have to pay 1.5k super creds to get it, uh, yeah no way ever lol. But yeah welcome to democracy if you're okay with maybe having your heart crushed occasionally by the devs, then loved randomly.

Unforunately this game has slipped once again, bugs (game bugs, don't worry not those undomcratic ones) are back, performance has dropped for a few of my friends, most importantly my friend's PC randomly hard crashes his computer whenever he plays the game, so far this hasn't been solved for a few weeks and it makes it really unfun when he can't play, that's an objective point. One that's a bit more debatable is how weapons specifically support weapons seem to be nerfed for no reason other than trying to a void a meta, just like last year weapons have started to do less and less damage. Overall I think the biggest problem recently was the ODST warbond, I know Xbox Divers were gonna eat it up, but why are all the weapons in it so bad?

I really want this game to do well, but if it's Oct-Nov Update is bad, I might have to unfortuantely leave the game, which sucks cause I really want it to do well, but for now I'm taking a break. The new hiveworld was cool though, but a pain in the ass too.

(PREVIOUS REVIEW) At first, this game was great, when the first big "anti-meta" patch came out. I didn't think it really mattered because there was loads of other weapons to use, but now that I'm playing harder difficulties, and my weapons do ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, it really stings to have everything feel like I'm shooting cotton balls instead of actual guns. I feel like I do no damage, and if my stratagems are out then all I can do is run. I don't want to run. I want to hold my ground, and die for democracy, not cower behind rocks and feel frustration when I loose all my ♥♥♥♥, because I can't kill enemies.

i want a refund after paying full price for Overwatch 1, you're a pathetic game now, and we've all been robbed because of corporate greed. A lot of people like to blame the devs, but as I hope to aspire to be one some day, I know it's not their fault. Since you like scrapping projects so much I think you should scrap OW2 and maybe people would come back.
