The game is hard, and it demands focus to do well. However, when you're doing well, it feels great. The paved road doesn't behave as expected, but it's close, and you'll be spending more time on your roof...i mean in the dirt anyway.

Start as one person getting beat up in a back alley by 3 street urchins in rags, to commanding an army of hundreds of well armed and armored soldiers, striking fear into any who oppose you. Or you can just buy/sell things, idk man, play how you want.

If you don't understand orbital mechanics or rockets, there's some learning to do, but this is by far THE most rewarding game when you finally accomplish something. The community is unprecedented, being the most helpful group of people, while providing a large selection of fun/useful mods. The stories that come out of this game are just a blast as well
10/10 Would take 3 attempts to rescue Jeb from the Mun again.

Story mode is shallow, very little lore, few missions, railroaded into character selection. Multiplayer has a VERY steep learning curve. My first few matches had a 'strict' skill level matchup, but across 6 rounds, I only got 2 hits on 'Equal' skill level opponents. Partly because they were using characters I would need to grind for hours (or pay who knows how much for) to unlock. Even after all the release hate, Ubisoft still hasn't come close to salvaging this game.
