Never played NFS before, so as my first-ever NFS experience... it was fun, great if you need a break from sim racing.

Completed the story in less than 16 hours though (with all the grinding) and it's... underwhelming. The writing was very mid, barebones plot, etc... thought there would be way more, but whatever. The writing was very mid, barebones plot.
Very fun, car sounds are a gajillion times better than Forza's and the customization is on point.

Dovetail... the POTENTIAL you had with this DLC!

I love every bit of it (most of it --- there's still scenery and rain and motion blur bugs because it was a TSW2 release and there was not even an attempt to fix anything, just an update on lighting) but what kind of urks me out is just... the lack of content.

An F40PH-3C and the rarest BTC-3 coaches are fine, but (especially for the passenger car) is NOT enough, nor is it really accurate. If it was the BTC-1B/CTC-1B coaches that would make more sense because those are some of the most common coaches running on all commuter rail lines. Plus, the absence of Kawasaki /Hyundai Rotem bi-levels I find a bit offensive: nearly all trains running contain at least one bilevel coach.

And where are the HSP46's? The GP40's? Heck, even the MP36? What about all of the CSX local freight opportunities??

It's a great DLC, and I love that I can operate the locomotives from my home state, but the potential is just within reach...

Bought this game under the mindset that it's going to be Mudrunner "2" of sorts. Thought the game would be robust and simple like it's predecessor - apparently not! While yes there's a "story" and all to the game, and perhaps it is the much more polished version of Mudrunner, I miss the freedom that Mudrunner itself gave. You didn't have to buy trucks or follow some laid-out path or story the game set for you, it was just a simple task that you had to complete while battling the elements in Siberia.

For now, I will stick to Mudrunner.

It's great fun, except the controls are confusing as hell and, to be frank, the bricks in the game are way too strong.

this review used to say negative because i was lazy to install mods like SOL or Content Manger. but now i learned that racing cup Miatas on the Nordschleife with your friends is ridiculously fun.

broken br, impossible grind, but still better than World of Tanks and that jumble of mess. And unbeaten graphics.
