Undertale is, without a doubt, one of the most unusually wonderful experiences I have ever had the joy of playing. Ever.

Initially I resisted purchasing this game due to my dislike for the nowadays-commonplace pixel art graphics style, and the (what I thought would be) insurmountable expectations that had been set for this game because of the hype. If there's anything I regret is that I waited too long to purchase this game, and also for buying this game and its soundtrack on sale because Toby Fox deserves more of my money.

Undertale is a fantastic story that blends great humour with dark themes, along with an argueably flawless soundtrack, easily some of the most memorable characters I've ever dealt with, and a fun bullet hell-esque battle system that keeps gameplay fresh when encoutering new enemies (or friends depending on your approach).

In my opinion this game is best played in this order of playstyles:

1. Organic (do what you want and get a good feel for the game)
   
2. Pacifist (spare everything, build good relationships and experience brilliant charcter development)
   
3. Genocide (put your feelings aside and destroy EVERYTHING)
   
4. Post-Genocide Pacifist (trust me)

10/10, easily my favourite game of 2015.
