23 hours in, just noticed while thinking I've barely explored about half of the Hernand area.. Opened map to see there was just as much more in just this region.

Runs good, Turned of DLAA for cleaner graphics running at High/Ultra mix at 60~ FPS on my laptop.
Controls aren't bad, there is tons of things to do so naturally complex but If you've played RDR2, Shadow of War etc. similar controls. Quests are alright, some are quite fun but barely scratched surface, its easy to get distracted while planning to do something.

Went to clear a bandit outpost, remaining bandits were far from the camp so I run to them. While fighting I notice some dodo-ahh Kuku Birds are also attacking me its 1v10v10 now counting the birds. Turns out there is a huge Kuku nest near the outpost. Outpost clear, cooked the birds, all happy and good. Poggy experience.

Also there are chonky cats, slim cats, kitten of many color 10/10

Stick with the Demo until Major Updates

It's a very unique game which good potential, let me get this out of the way first.
I got 99.8 hours out of the Demo, this alone is the reason I re-bought the game after day 1 refund.

Many features are missing or roughly implemented from the Early Access Trailer.
UI is meh, not hard to navigate but uglier than the Demo
Gameplay wise, physics are worse than the Demo and this results in wonky swinging, weird glitches and awful player control. Even at the max vanilla Strenght, new mechanic that inreases as you progress, every weapon is weird to control.

Overall, I would wait until a couple major Updates and check again what stage is the game at.
Is it still fun? Sure, If you try to ignore the badly optimized maps, worse physics etc.

A good game, with a huge potential to sink hours into.
Combining good elements from different games and getting constant updates too.
Buy it, no regrats

Old game wasted my life enough for technology to advance and repeat the loop once again.

If you were kind of interested in Chivalry, this game will make you play hours after hours without even noticing !

Also pretty much the best game to get introduced to the First-Person Slasher genre.
