As a long-time Dragon Age fan since the release of Origins I really liked the Veilguard.

Main pros:
- Excellent technical implementation: no bugs, good optimization, smooth mechanics and player experience.
- Entertaining combat and gameplay loop.
- All content was written: no endless MMO-like grind or pointless filler content like in Inquisition.
- Timeless visual design: I think the stylized graphics will age pretty well compared to some more photo-realistic styles in other games.
- The story provided a nice ending for the macro story arch of the 4 Dragon Age games and answered all the most relevant open questions. No cliffhangers were left unlike in most previous games.
- The party was very wholesome and side characters were mostly well written. I especially liked Solas, Neve, Harding and Bellara.
- The game handled pretty well the vast array of different location that were visited during the story. There was enough time spent and quality content in each of them. The locations themselves were well designed and beautiful.

Cons:
- The writing did have some weaker parts from time to time but nowhere on the level many reviewers allude to.
- The game would have benefited from more roleplay options and complex decisions for the player.
