A solid multiplayer experience for an excellent price. I enjoy the "warbond" battlepass system. They cost 1000SC ($10 USD) but 100 hours in I've come to find you get around 100SC an hour of active play.

Warbonds do contain improved gameplay experiences, though, with unique items which are not only just cosmetic but prove different types of play (new, stronger guns/armors, etc.).

With that being said, there is no Fear of Missing Out found in this game as of review. The warbonds stay around and can be earned and worked on at any point in time which is a breath of fresh air for recent titles.

The "Super Citizen Edition" is not required, and you don't miss out on anything gameplay/mechanically without it.

As of review - The game has some minor gameplay bugs - nothing unexpected from a cross-platform life service game. Can be mildly frustrating but did not detract from my gameplay experience.

The balancing of guns/stratagems has some room for improvement. The are large differences in power between some guns to others and their recent way to 'fix' that has been to nerf what is good to put things at a similar level. Which to me is a short-term, anti-fun way of balancing.

Having played all the Super Giant games I must say this one is my favorite!

-If you enjoy ARPGs like Diablo, Path to Exile and Divinity you'll fall in love with this games combat for sure.
-If you enjoy Roguelites/likes (like) Binding of Isaac, Dead Cells, Risk of Rain you'll get addicted to how complex and unique each run can get.

None of this has even touched on how great the story, music and art design is. This game is perfect for anyone itching for the horde type gameplay of an ARPG and the fast but thoughtful runs of a roguelike.

I've played around 400 hours, 100%'d it and I still find myself going back when I feel the urge to have some hard and fast gameplay. 10/10 would recommend
