The game so far proves to be a satisfying iteration on Hollow Knight's base game mechanics, narrative delivery, and art. Things feel cohesive and the slow opening with its varied spaces, brilliant sound design and soundtrack is perfectly enrapturing and atmospheric. Looking forward to more Skong!

The way this game twists the roguelite genre on its head is extraordinary. I am left making connections, sometimes seemingly clutching at straws trying to see how things connect - the satisfaction of finding the larger answers is unrivaled. Keep a notebook (or PureRef board) handy!

Everything I could have hoped for and more! If you've tried the demo like I have, you'll find the section immediately following the end of it gets progressively more interesting in making use of a variety of movement and navigation. If you're prone to frustration the game can be somewhat obtuse at points, but I found that to be a draw, to the point of disabling the built-in tutorials to have a more uninterrupted exploration experience. And when I can't find the way forward, I'll have a walk around and soak in the incredible vibes.
Update 6.2 hours in: The setting and tone differs slightly, but each stage gives an intriguing new perspective on the megastructure, changing the scale and orientation of the spaces you navigate so it really feels like exploring the innards of something incomprehensibly vast.

Fun game to mess around with friends, Virality mod for bigger lobbies is hype. Ultimately - decently solid but laid back horror game mechanics strapped onto a proximity chatroom, a game where the people make or break the experience.

Very fun game, love the momentum you can get on some levels, would be fun to have more of the basic formula levels! Christmas bonus levels were interesting but maybe a bit too confusing initially.

SCP Secret Laboratory is one of the most intriguing mazes to explore in gaming, though make sure you have a good mic and private space to embody your role as a talking dog, heinous criminal, or private militia force to your hearts content.

Personally, I loved this DLC; not as much as the main game due to a few gameplay annoyances, but the themes and story more than made up for it for me. I'm not sure if it's best to experience this separately from the game, or to enable it along with the main game; personally I did the latter, but only started the DLC near the end. Some of my friends found it disappointing, so perhaps it isn't as universally enjoyable as Outer Wilds itself, but if the much moodier atmosphere appeals to you - 100% go for it.

I would recommend going into this not exactly knowing what it is. It is about space, it is about exploration, it is about solving a mystery; but beyond that, you should find out yourself. One of the best games I have ever played.

The Echoes of the Eye DLC stands up to the same quality as the rest of the game, and slots perfectly into its world. Heavily recommend it for an experience which is similar in effect to the original game and yet does not drop the ball on creating completely new puzzles and content.

Thoroughly recommend BABBDI, especially if you enjoyed games such as NaissanceE, Lorn's Lure (demo), or Kitty Horrorshow's games. The environment is fun to explore, equal parts breathtakingly beautiful and oppressive, especially when combined with the variety of progressively more powerful movement options. Mastering movement is in itself a fun part of the game, and the parkour/movement mechanics are surprisingly tight and responsive.

Early Access Review
I have been playing Cosmoteer since Classic, and have not once been disappointed. The new career mode is fun and engaging, though the real core of the game (for me at least) is the competitive community, especially in regards to player-organised tournaments. With the new influx of players, the numbers will hopefully grow enough that more frequent tournaments become a possibility. Looking forward to meeting the new and returning competitive players, who hopefully won't get overwhelmed by ship categories like 'squib', 'mobile spinner fort', 'ion core orbiter' and 'nuke range extender'.

Also, Walt is a very passionate developer interested in the best for this game, and it is certainly a labour of love. Always open to bug reports, suggestions, and community engagement. Do take a look at the game's Discord for the core of the community, with events, advice, etc. - there are already consistent tournaments running for ship design and pvp, too.
