Early Access Review
It's good!
Was very excited to play this after Cruelty Squad.

I beat the available story in Early Access, and it took one sitting of about 7-8 hours, but I played for 15 cause I restarted with the knowledge I gained. This is definitely a speedrun-able game once you know what you're doing.

In the final release I just hope there's more quests, areas, polish, and additional endings past the first one.

Starter Tips, Cash and Economy
I wouldn't worry about money or debt all that much. You do need to bribe a couple people to get information, but there's no cash gate that blocks main plot progress. You mostly find the best gear by picking it up off the ground or off of enemies. There are also some high net worth individuals you can kill and rob and put all that money into any stock for a nice daily dividend. $100,000 in any stock across the market = $1,000 Daily Dividend roughly.

Due to the lack of information, I feel like leveling up is not that important in this initial release.
Just pick a High Strength / High Vitality class like Warrior Cop, Get $30k to grab the heaviest body armor and a helmet from the garage terminal, and that'll do it. After that you just gotta be the better, faster shot.

The little extraction zones with the globe symbol in them autosave your progress when you walk into then. You respawn from there when you die, and you can manually save from the menu that pops up in them. Most enemies and non unique NPCs respawn when you reload an area.

General Gameplay
On Foot / Mech combat feels pretty good. Some people might not like it cause it's very lethal, but it was thrilling to have to be quick on the draw or restart the area. No area is too long, it's never too much to run through it again to get back to where you were. Reloading feels good to do, and I always love projectile based gunplay over hitscan.

Talking with people and exploring stuff is great. The characters are written in a bizarre, engaging way, and you're guided along pretty well as long as you talk to everyone with a yellow name.

The dev toned down the visuals a bit in PPR, which I'm thankful for. The visuals and music still isn't quite for me, but it's much more refined here than it was in Cruelty Squad.

Early Access Specific Stuff
Due to the early access nature of the initial release there's a lot of missing information, and a couple bugs.
There's a lot of weapons missing descriptions, which is a shame cause the flavor text is great.
All but the first two statistics on the level up page also don't have tooltips as well to let you know what they do.

I hope there's better solutions for light in the final release, as some areas get quite dark. The cigarettes, NVGs, and Flashlight are all rough solutions.

Finally
I had a great time with it, I'll definitely come back for the full release.
