Craftopia is a game that I love for all of its rough edges. There's games you play that are good, games you play that are bad, and games that are kind of a trade off of the two. Craftopia definitely has some glitches and needs work to be done to polish it up, which is to be expected because it's still in early-access. However, I still find it to be an incredibly ambitious and charming project. I look forward to all of its releases and have a lot of fun revisiting the game to see what's changed. The newest seamless world update has made vast improvements to the gameplay and graphics, so where this title will go from here!

I'm about 2/3 of the way through the story now and want to advocate for just how adorable and enjoyable this game is. As I mushroom enthusiast, I've had so much fun sprinting between different sections of the forest to religiously document every kind of fungi that I find. It's easy to become immersed in the sounds and colors of this little world. Aesthetics aside, I've also found the mechanics to lend themselves very well to platforming. It's nice to be able to mindlessly glide around without being punished for missing a ledge or falling into some water. Overall, I think that this is game is incredibly cozy and a joy to play.
