This game is to those of us who find relaxation in tasks of seeming monotony what ice cream is to toddlers: pure, unadulterated delight. For an early access title, the gameplay is fairly well hammered out, and that gameplay amounts to selecting your washer, what extension to use, what width nozzle to use, and what plan of attack you have for the item or building you are cleaning. The washing itself is extremely satisfying, as the developers picked the right surfaces to dramatically unveil as you remove the filth and grime. Additionally, the time-lapse at the end of a job shows wonderfully just how you changed the property from grody to great.

I highly recommend this. It needs more levels but that's part of what early access is all about.

This game is excellent. Juggling base management, upgrades, and, of course, your soldiers makes playing through this game a different story every playthrough. Will your rookie manage that 75% shot chance to save his own neck, or get himself killed? Can you extract your seasoned veteran from a no-win scenario, surrounded by enemy creatures? While the difficulty curve actually plateaus and, I would argue, declines slightly once you gain your footing and start to hit the aliens as hard as they can hit you, the satisfaction in reaching that point more than makes up for the less challenging gameplay. I would recommend this game to anyone who enjoys a tactical challenge, or crafting their own war stories.

If you haven't played it yet, you should. I held out for almost a year, oblivious to the depth of an otherwise inane-looking VN experience. The care and writing and cleverness that went into the creation of this game should fill us all with awe and gratitude that things like this are not only possible, but that creative minds will continue to give us surprising and fulfilling content.

Thus did I eagerly play a game, to watch and participate in a lovingly crafted story about loss and coping that had some truly ingenious gameplay decisions wrapped into it. And so it was that I highly enjoyed my experience, and would recommend the game to any and all that have a few hours to kill. Great graphics, gripping story, and eerie voices!
