UPDATE - However many years later and the issue is still the same. Remove transport in it's entirety on land! Horses and shields are way too OP and horses shouldn't spawn naturally.

Ruined the game as soon as they brought about transport. Game was fun when it was boots on the ground, man vs man. When you actually got key cards to loot monuments and worked your way up. End game can be hit so early, that’s why servers die quickly. No-one really wants to be killed two hours into a wipe with people who are geared with semi’s, smg’s etc. I remember a time where people fought with crossbows for hours. Crossbows are obsolete two hours in.
