This game is fun without getting bogged down into the themes and ideas Kojima is chasing here. That said, if you're a fan of complex worldbuilding and his campy execution with respects to character designs and overarching lore, you're going to love it. If you play it you'll have fun, but if you let it you'll get so much more.

Early Access Review
Don't let "Early Access" scare you. If you're ready to play just take the dive, it's amazing even in this "early" state. In this case it's in version 0.9 and it feels like it in the best way possible.
