This is an easy thumbs up for early access. There's tangible peril in the combat right off the bat, the weapon system is interesting, and it's visually stunning (cut-scenes) already.

Landfall has an incredible team for this one. 'Haste' feels like what every 'Sonic' game was supposed to make you feel, combined. It is the manifestation of the little running person out your car window. You can't help but love the characters, and the dialog feels fresh given it's almost tongue-in-cheek approach to anxiety-induced existentialism. It's in my top-5 comfort games moving forward. Absolutely loved every element to this game.

If you want combat that makes you feel like a bad-ass while simultaneously enjoying one of the most psychologically hard-hitting plots I've encountered in a while, play Nine Sols. This game has scratched such a desperate itch and it has phenomenal polish at every turn.

Got this game only a couple years ago, revisited with the DLC sales, and this game is, what, 7 years old now? But it still plays like a classic as far as I'm concerned.

This game is set up really well to leave you wanting to know what's next on your objective, how much of the game you have left (it's nice and long), what loot you're gonna get in the next chest... it's definitely it's own game, but with plenty to give to those looking for another fps story game.

If you've been eyeing this game for a while I definitely say get it while it's on sale and just give it a go. I think you'll definitely get a good laugh, be intrigued, and feel like a badass.
