WE ARE SO BACK!

Before I begin this review, this is my first three hours in and i am having the time of my life! It blows my very mind how 32 ex-Ubisoft got together and literally made their own original JRPG! As a long time JRPG fan, i have very high standards, my first game that introduce me to this genre was Final Fantasy X and that was an experience. A joy and loving experience that these 32 developers brought back with flying colors.

Music:

The music is by the far one of the highlights of this game, I love music such as opera and hyms as it reminds me of another series I am heavily into called Fate developed by Type- Moon. Since most of the time in the game you're going to be fighting monsters and whatever bothers you, the battle ost comes in really quick with setting the tone! The introduction of every match sounds like the Protagonist is going to do some insane thing. Its small details like this that I like, good music that always sets the tone and pace of a game
I am enjoying the soundtrack so far in the game, will update if I ever change


Story

This game is literally what a modern Final Fantasy Game is suppose to be, and I am not kidding. The voice acting and the story and pace of how the story progresses does not overwhelm me (in the first few hours of the game) and on top of this, you can already tell the quality of the story base on the introduction and the first impression alone. This studio has a good writer. I am enjoying my playthrough so far. Will Update at a later time!

Gameplay

HOLY. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. ♥♥♥♥. WE ARE SO BACK BOYS. Turn base combat is alive and well and I have been preaching this like it was the gospel written in the old testament, JRPG WILL ALWAYS BE KING. But seriously, it blows my mind how 32 ubisoft developers manage to create an original story and tell it BETTER then the garbage Square enix release infected by their ethic department. The first fifteen minutes was all i needed to even judge the quality of the game, and i FELT the love they put into it because again, its the small details that matter. In every introduction to a battle, the protagonist Gustave literally has the coolest sword introduction that sets the tone for the whole turn base gameplay

The old formula does not dissappoint in the least, I have Attack, skill, Item and use some cool Pistol. NEAT! You have to manage your AP if you want to stay consistent with your skills, I havent fought a boss yet so you're right now reading this from some green horn. But i very much love the perry and dodle system and how it keeps you on your toes.

Overall. You guys are amazing. Please never change and Please do not give up your creativity for corpo ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. You developers, the writer, and the voice actors. Thank you so much for giving me this experience i will likely enjoy. Please keep your creative autonomy and believe in your work and progress.

You guys def got a fan! I look forward to more lore of this series with perhaps others expeditions of prequals or sequals (I know i am going to end up wanting this to be a series so might as well write it here). Please keep being the shining becon so other developers may follow, thank you!

Its a good game!!!!

By far one of the best Harvest Moon Games since Friends Of Mineral Town, as a long time fan of the series I am happy the studio behind the series are still adding fresh new ideas and continue to release good quality HM games since the remake of Mineral town (which i also loved).
