This is not a review of the base game. I haven't played through the campaign once. This is a review of Star Wars: MovieBattles II, a multiplayer mod for JK:JA.

MBII is honestly the best mod I have ever played because it changes the base game so much it becomes unrecognizable from the source material. This mod transforms this game into a class-based multiplayer objective oriented shooter(ish). I say shooter(ish) because out of the 12 classes this mod has to offer, 2 of them are entirely melee based, Jedi and Sith (and Wookie, I guess and yes you can play as a Wookie) these two classes are completely different from the others because they have lightsabers which makes encounters such as gunner vs jedi play out completely differently from jedi vs sith or gunner vs gunner and makes every fight fresh and exciting. The best part about the classes in my opinion is that every class is balanced perfectly while still having unique abilities that some classes can counter while others are more vulnerable to (Jedi and Sith are vulnerable to clone blobs but can counter rockets quite easily). Every class has multiple playstyles for example Mandalorian can be a Sniper or an up close and personal Jedi hunter and a Soldier can opt for heavier weaponry like an e-11 or become a Grenadier and stick with pistol and cash in on grenades.

Up to this point I have only been talking about the Open game mode but there is also a Duel(Practice Jedi vs Sith lightsaber combat), FA(More lore-friendly scenarios) and Semi-Authentic(Less lore-friendly than FA but still quite Lore-friendly). I wanted to talk about duel because this mod has THE MOST IN-DEPTH LIGHTSABER COMBAT out of any game. I couldn't explain the lightsaber combat even if i tried but just know there is an incredibly high skill-ceiling. I have played this game for quite a bit now and I still consider myself a novice in lightsaber combat.
