Excellent installment in the resident evil franchise. Lots of nostalgic moments. Just based on the overall quality of the game, it is 100% worth playing.

However, I wish there was more content. This installment felt too short compared to other resident evil games. I also think the content they reused from resident evil 2 remake fell short.

Overall, it felt like a high quality product that if given just a little bit more time and content could have topped the franchise.

Nothing like spending 3 hours of your life just to watch a beautiful elven woman kiss an old hag.

I enjoyed the game but did not enjoy the message. Perhaps make the next episode not about g-- sexuality?

This game is punishing as hell on hard mode, painfully brutal. Requires lots of skill and planning.

Recommend for the atlus fans of persona and smt V.
Do not recommend for those first getting into the series, you will want to rage quit.

A Must play persona. The voice acting, the story, all of it, is amazing.

Where Persona 3 has made me cry, Persona 4 has made me laugh at the silliest things.

I will gladly replay this from scratch when the remake comes out in 2 years. Highly recommend.

Instead of summoning a demon's skills (aka persona and devil summoner), you capture demons, add them to your party (Max part of 4, plus extra in reserve), and fight other demons, turn based, JRPG styled.

You get to fuse the demons you capture, pass on skills, absorb their skill affinity, and make yourself stronger.

Every demon has their own personality, and they are all hilarious.

Highly recommend as a time killer, don't expect an amazing love story or plot like persona.

The game is so bogging. I spend most of my time juggling through the menu and maps, changing equipment, watching enemies juggle through their turn, etc.. I think its a wonderful fantasy adaptation of persona, but it feels so dreary, and time wasting. In persona, accessing your "personas" and skills were really ironed out. It was nice quick and easy to change personas and update skills. Not in this game. Cycling through menus just to change classes and inheritable skills is so tiring.

As for the story, the dialogue and story is just... bland. There's nothing to relate to. Prejudice this, justice that, nobility this, inclusion that, discrimination there, suffering here, oh my sons is dead btw for the 20th time.... the general theme is just so repetitive. Gallica and Maria are the only ones i currently look forward to talking in the game.

A must play for all JRPG and VN fans. Lots of other games were inspired by the ideas implemented here.
Also the music is banger.

I played the game on merciless and had an amazing time.
