I like the concept and the visuals are amazing, but there isnt enough there to make it worth playing. I will check this game out again closer to 1.0.
As I note, I had flickering on a very up to date linux build, this may not be present on windows at this time.

Adding in experience from the beta combined with the few hours I had today.
The game is fun, it feels like a complete game at launch, with a broad range of characters and a decent online gameplay.
The fighting system is REALLY good, and the characters dont feel like they solely rely on the system but rather use it to compliment their style.
People are crying about Ronaldo and Salvatore yet are letting two random characters stopping them from playing a great game.

I wanted this game to be blast corps, I didn't hate the game but it really didn't excite me

To note: I do enjoy the game, and the gameplay is good, but just like Tekken 7 Season1 has rough edges in terms of balance.

However, a slower than normal release of new characters, as well as DLC characters that are just brain rot (Eddy has very little fun factor), and finally selling back Tekken 7 cosmetics to loyal fans whilst reducing the cosmetics in this game really hurts.

The game is still very popular for a fighting game, but quality in other areas isnt there... My previous Review rant is still below

Steps for a successful video game:
1. Release amazing game to huge praise by press, hardcore, and casual...

2.Add a cash shop and battle pass system that either allows to acquire old assets or assets from blender, at a markup. (You also can't buy these directly as all transactions are in Tekken coins so your paying $10 for a $6 item, hurray)

3. Take down mods and social media posts criticizing your game decisions....

4. Focus on fixing the people that disconnect.... Hahahaha I joke, they haven't done a thing to sort that out, if your abouts to win and some soy boi has his feelings hurt, too bad for you.

The RPG element may not be for everyone, but still a great RGG game

Is this a souls game? Nope
Instead what you get is a great single player mech game, that still retains the difficulty that the Devs are known for.

World tour and lobby performance is still crap, the actual game (fighting) seems to perform well.
DLC characters have been Ok, and patches seem to be moving the game away from a two horse race (Ken and Luke).
I can recommend this game but, but if your buying mainly for world tour, then I would buy directly off steam, and also note that the demo has no DRM in, so you will get a better performance in that.

I'm pure addicted to modding this game... My space marines are fighting enemy Saiyans with captured Pokemon...

The game is amazing and runs excellent (30-40fps) on Steam deck, which I consider an achievement seeing as this is a PS5 game originally.
Two issues though;
Firstly, I encounteded stuttering on Windows but not on the Steam Deck,
Secondly, the game saves the Graphical settings to the save file rather than locally, its a pain if you switch between machines frequently, I stopped playing this on my Steam Deck on my commute after day two as I had to set up up the FSR and DLSS settings each time after switching
Overall though works great on Deck just not if you plan to use multiple machines with different specs.
