thx for the free levels

A story based RPG which cleverly manages to integrate its own mechanics with the actual story through a plot that contains a surprising amount of depth. I will have to say that it was and still is my favourite game and for this reason I must point out you probably want to play it on your own first before reading any of the analysis on this page since, having looked through some of the negative reviews, most of them enjoyed it but decided to downvote it due to it not being as good as other peoples' opinions led them to believe. With this said I’d love to talk more about Undertale in greater detail but I think this would spoil the adventure.

My recommendation is - as long as retro graphics are not an issue with you - buy this game as you would any other RPG (or storybased, since it's more heavy on that side) and experience it for yourself with as little side-knowledge as you can to avoid spoilers. Only one slight problem I will explain, there's one single save slot and three main different game routes that can easily be scratched out if you do something wrong so, if you don't want to screw up keep reading; if you want to experience this game entirely by yourself stop here.

For the neutral route you don't have to worry because you're most likely gonna get it naturally.

For the "true ending" spare all characters and befriend all main characters.

For the "bad ending" (and a whole different atmosphere throughout the whole game) kill every monster that pops up until the screen - But nobody came. - shows up.
