Sorry late review but yes it's a masterpiece.

Behold, the perfect woman.

Finished this with my eight year old son. From being frustrated, this quickly became his favorite game.

And so the road to Souls has begun. Praise the sun!


As for a review, these are what my children say about Cuphead:

"Crazy. But good."

So that's the score. 10 out of 9.

Takes some experimentation and fiddling around with settings both in app and in game such as fps lock and Vsync, but I've made it work well on Dead Space (2023) and currently Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. I'm on a 3070ti (which didn't even make it to the recommended GPU for Indy) and I'm playing at 90fps on high settings.

Definitely great value for a little over 4USD!

*Steam says I've only used this for 17 minutes. I think it's because I made a shortcut on my Windows Start menu and it bypasses Steam.

I've been playing coop with a group of friends for 2 years now and this is the only game we have up on.

Relaxing.

Great game and one of the best in my life - maybe top 5. I haven't really absorbed all of it as I made it to the end because of how enormous and epic and tiring this journey was. What I felt as I watched the credits roll was probably like what some of the characters in The Lord of the Rings felt as they finished their adventure - they could have jumped around in celebration but they only had enough energy to get on their knees, smile, and be grateful to have emerged victorious against all odds.

The classic was the game that made me a pc gamer. I bought this enhanced edition just because it didn't feel right to have a "best of the best" list in my Steam Library and not have Baldur's Gate II there one way or the other.

Great game especially since I got it at 50% off and before Sony ditched regional pricing. Yabadabadoo!
