In Deadly Premonition, nothing was good, and it was amazing.

In Deadly Premonition 2, nothing is good, and it's terrible.

Isn't that interesting, Zach?

Really great game. I loved the physics, the audio is especially good and there are some cool achievements. I enjoyed stacking and climbing boxes to reach high places and find secret loot. Riving wooden boxes in the bear traps is super satisfying; seeing the pieces and items inside explode across the room, paired with the loud smashing sound, is really funny. And you can burn stuff! A proper video game.

It's like a combination of Amnesia and Dishonored, in a way. A must-play if you enjoy atmospheric horror games like Amnesia, Penumbra and Outlast. Hope we get a sequel some day!

Just gets worse and worse every year. Picked it up for only £12 but the user interface alone makes me not want to play.

Game unable to load my career mode saves, even though I can clearly see them in the correct directory. GG...

I love this game. It's the first FIFA I have bought since 13 and I can see huge improvements since then. So far (86h) I have only played career mode and have had an absolute blast. I don't watch football all that much but the drama in this game is unreal.

However, despite how much I enjoy the game, I can't recommend it to others because it is truly broken. It is far and away the buggiest game I've ever played. It's just so badly made - not only in terms of RUBBISH AI such midfielders refusing to track back or close down an opposition attacker 5m away etc etc etc, but UI bugs such as objects persisting on the screen all season long and I've even seen code strings in the main menu... Yeah. Feels like this game was programmed using C♭.

Great core gameplay, but with all the money EA make from children reaching into mama's purse to buy FUT coins, I would expect far better programming in all aspects in one of the companies flag-ship titles. Oh and it also doesn't have features present in the Xbox Series X or PS5 version of the game which is further insult to injury.

Figment: an incredibly beautiful game, visually and metaphorically.

In this isometric puzzle/action adventure game, two old friends come together again when they are urgently required to save a decaying mind. The foremost point of the game is the battle between courage and fear, demonstrated as our heroes fight external fears, plague and nature, and finally, the mind's own internally generated misery.

The game is outstandingly pretty, and I adore the music, especially the bosses' songs (they sing, wonderfully), making this game a treat for the relevant senses. The controls are very simple. You can run, swing a sword, interact with objects and roll, but I can't say the game is lacking substance post factum. Speaking of which, the puzzles are excellent; difficult enough to give a challenge but not too much so that you get a headache.

The main characters have a good rapport, which becomes more evident as the game draws to the finale and they have spent considerable time reconnecting, making for some very funny and heart-warming dialogue. I relished Dusty's dry humour especially. The voice-acting (and singing) is nothing shy of fantastic, with a range of accents to differentiate each character, either alongside wonderfully drawn sprites, or alone for the off-screen characters who had some of the best lines.

In the end, a marvy little game. Worth 5 hours of your time? Absolutely.

Every few years it takes a really phenomenal game to remind me of why I continue to play video games. In recent years: Her Story, Lisa, Dark Souls come to mind. I'm glad to say that another one of Double Fine's games are of this calibre for me. At a time in my life where video games don't seem to invigorate me like they did as a child and teenager, it is quirky and original games like Headlander that relight the fire.

The obvious thing that differentiates this game from other platformers is the ability to detach the player's head from his or her body and fly around, and paired with beautifully delicate controls is MUCH more fun than it looks in any promotional images. The highlight of the game for me was the retro-futuristic, LSD-laced visuals which were an absolute spectacle draped over the gorgeous environments. Furthermore, Jonathon Lipow's excellent voice acting for Earl, in cohesion with humorous writing, made for pleasant company throughout the duration of the game.

I think Headlander is an excellent game and an interesting deviation from the norm which can offer something exciting for everyone.

Early Access Review
++ Good gunplay
++ Price
+ Cohesive artstyle (while not having the best graphics)
+ Maps are ok, nothing incredible

- You have to press F1 to ready up before some games. This is simultaneously the worst and best thing in the game. One match I waited 15 minutes for everyone to ready-up and the match only lasted 3-4. It's a total joke. The only upside to this is that usually the pre-game just devolves into a team-killing slaughterfest. Spawn, die. Spawn, die. Spawn, die. This sounds terrible, but actually, the ridiculousness of it all, and the ever-growing pile of dead bodies in my teams spawn had me howling with laughter. It was my best experience with this game
--- Loot boxes (Becauase of course). Tacky and disrespectful to those who lost their lives in WWII. Stop ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ normalising gambling
--- The economy in Wartide. It's awful for two big reasons. Some players just pick the snipers without regard for playing with their team. And also, the pick-ups are SO intrusive in the middle of the game. You can just use them to bait out the other team. It makes NO sense and affects playing the main objective. STUPID design choice. Just use an economy like CS:GO, we already know it works so well
--- The worst thing of all: every time you die in this game is because of prone-shotting, jump-shotting or someone strafing round a corner doing 10km/h no-scoping you in the head with a sniper. It's insane. The weapons in this game are too accurate. Once again, in a post CS:GO market, this just is not fun. You just die to apparent super soldiers. This needs fixed.
