Issues with the developer (specifically the CEO) aside, with some stability and performance improvements this could be the best game of the Borderlands franchise. The overall tone is a little more serious, but the unhinged comedic absurdity, dark humor, and borderline psychotic shenanigans that make Borderlands what it is still play a big role. The added mobility, new weapon kit generation, and expanded skill trees are excellent improvements that make the game feel more fluid and enjoyable to play, comparable to other modern RPGs and shooters, without changing the game's recipe too much. Even in the avalanche of great games released this year, and other releases coming up, I will most likely be spending my time exploring Kairos for months to come.

Whether you want to play solo or with a friend, jump into PvP to test your strategy skills against other players, or just challenge yourself with progressively more difficult survival matches against AI. This game is fantastic value that will keep you entertained for hours telling yourself - "Just one more match. I'll get them this time!"

This game was literally my intro to the RTS genre and the start for my love of PC gaming as a kid. While I highly recommend this game for its simplistic mechanics and thoroughly enjoyable gameplay, this particular version is full of bugs, with frequently experienced crashing. If there is ever an update to address things like the sound effects volume always resetting to default after changing it, unit AI just standing around while being attacked in aggressive stance, and just overall stability improvements, I would give this my wholehearted recommendation.

This game is beautiful. If you like Vermintide, WH40K content, or sci-fi horror/thriller games, you must play this.

They are not quite billions, but they are a good challenge and sometimes a little silly. This dark humored, base building, resource managing, tower defending, wave defeating extravaganza is well worth your time if you like any of the above with a hint of British comedy.

Awesome added content, but a few things like the new "Blind Pest" monsters still appear to need some balancing.

Fun semi-active tower defense game. Some mechanics are simple and straight forward, while others take time to build up to and eventually master. Some mechanics still have some scaling rework needed, but I'm looking forward to the full release.

Fun rogue-like FPS wave killer. Race to kill creeps and collect loot as quickly as you can, all as the threat gets bigger and badder. This game is perpetually re-playable. I can't wait to see if they release new content.

Dwarves in space mining shiny stuff, drinking beer and shooting bugs. What else need I say?

This is a super fun, super fast little strategy game. Drag your cursor around, build an army, time your attack and take down your foes! It's a good time in 10 minutes or less.
