Ok... awsomenauts is a 2D moba about people fighting in space. Your question is "Is it a good game?"

My answer is. Kind of.

The only reason I am saying this is because this game does alot of good things. But of course with good things comes the flaws. There are good characters, and their moves sets usually come with their pros, and their weaknesses.
But with these characters with the weaknesses and pros, there are characters who have pros, but no weaknesses. Such as Yuri, He can fly and he has mines. He has the pros of having high powered mines. But what is his weakness? He can fly, So he can just avoid the other characters that are on the ground. There is a character named Leon. He has the power to go invisible and he can stay like that until he wants to attack. Stealth is his pro. Again, what is his weakness? He can just stay invisible, He is kind of like Loki from the game "Smite." But again, What is his weakness? If he attacks, he can just stall you until the 9 second cooldown ends. Thats another bad thing since the cooldowns are so short If im right the longest cooldown in the game is 11 seconds and thats for the strongest move in the game(Derpl's Rocket Launcher.)
Either way, I should get back to the weaknesses and pros thing. Now if this game had things like temporary boosts like jump boost, or and all seeing eye so you can see the invisible I would be fine with the fact that they dont have weaknesses. But the fact that they dont, makes this game harder to play. But this is really my only complaint.

The gameplay is pretty smooth and its only really slow if you have bad internet connection, or your playing with someone with a bad connection.

The community is pretty bad, They would probably end up making fun of you and calling you garbage if you arent doing better than them. You would usually end up finding this from leauge 8-6 they usually end up being super annoying but you can switch to the EU servers if they bother you that much (Or vice versa.)

Last but not least. There is no story so this part dosnt count.

So lets add this up Ups (Gameplay, Characters 1/2.) So thats about 7 points sunce gameplay is a main factor to a game in my opinion

Downs (The whole Pros and Weaknesses thing, The Community) so thats minus 1 point. You might ask"You went so far into the pros and weaknesses thing and it only lost 1 point?" Well thats not for all of the characters there are more than 20 characters. The characters with no weaknesses are just played alot. Also, the community dosnt mean much you can just switch the region.

So my final rating is 6.5/10 So I DO recommend this game,
