TL:DR- This game isn't worth your time, even as a F2P in it's current state. Tons of balance issues and no tutorial make this game impossible to learn unless you have no life at all. Also, to actually do anything, you have to pay for a $30 in-game upgrade to your account.

My Dark and Darker Experience:

-Download the game.
-Make a Ranger character cause hell yeah pew pew bows!
-No tutorial on start so hopefully things will be explained in game! (Haha...)
-Load into Trios with friends.
-Start with no weapon in hand and die trying to beat a wolf to death with my bare hands.
-Google and learn that you need to equip items using the numbers keys on keyboard.
-"Haha, silly mistake. Should be good to go now!" I thought.
-Load into another map.
-Loot a bunch of items with a bunch of random stats that aren't explained, hoping they were good.
-Never found out cause I froze to death because of a timer in the game that I didn't notice.
-"Wow, what a stupid way to die, but now I know!" I thought.
-Continue dying over and over, never meeting any other enemy players.
-Finally, after 10+ deaths, escape for the first time with loot! Wow!
-"So, uh... what do I even do with loot?"
-Spend another 20 minutes googling around to learn about how to even sell the items I got for gold.
-Sell random pieces of loot that I got because I still don't know what each stat does or means.
-Finally load into a game and find an enemy team.
-Die immediately to someone jumping and shooting me through a gap in the wall.
-Try Again.
-Die being rushed down by another group with glowing sparkly gear that take 10 hits but kill me in 2.
-Try to change classes to another one, thinking maybe I picked the wrong one.
-"Pay $30 to unlock more than 1 character slot!"
-Have to delete my character to make a new class.
-Uninstall after because i'm not paying $30 for a game that doesn't have a tutorial so that I can have more than 1 character (something that not even the cheapest MMO's usually restrict you so heavily from doing)

Heard a lot of really good things about this game from everyone I knew, but finally picking it up now has disappointed me extremely. I may give it another try, but this game just feels like garbage to play with 0 anything in-game to teach you about the 1,000 menus and weird nuances. Not to mention the fake F2P that tries to reel you in and make you spend $30 to actually do anything meaningful. Honestly, would rather the game be listed at $15-30 because it honestly just pisses me off seeing how I can't even try out other classes without deleting my character. Wish the game the best, but if this game dies, the blame lies solely with the devs for not creating any BASIC tutorials, even.

Honestly, beautifully stylized game with a KILLER soundtrack to back it up. The story was always being added upon during the downtime between bosses, before and after, so it never left me clueless, though it does leave it up to you to piece together a lot of it (until the end). Personally, if you like Bullet Hells, 10/10 give my recommendation.

P.S. (not spoilers but don't wanna risk)
There is stuff to do after the credits, don't just exit once you see them. Look around and you will find a way to the TRUE ending.

  So, two things that aren't good about the game. There are still DOUBLE the amount of PROS. Why SHOULDN'T I spend $50 to buy a game that looks good? If you ask yourself this, then you haven't read the bads and/or don't know what you are getting yourself into. The game you are looking at is in the same REALM of LOTR, TALKS about the same things, but, overall, without a few things here or there, it is a different world.This may sound interesting ( and it may be interesting for some of you), but it's not if you came for the story(I am one who came for the Gameplay AND Story). The whole THEME of the Missions and Story is to kill. You have to go kill this, or slaughter a camp of that, for what? To get a few coins? To have fun? I completed just about everything you can do in this game in about 20 hours. I collected all of the Artifacts, Symbols, Missions, Story, etc. I KNOW this game and have played it enough to know what it is all about: Brutally murdering Orcs(Uruks). The ending is horrible as well. I'm sorry if you think this is spoiling but, in the end, The Final Boss, IT'S JUST QUICK-TIME EVENTS! You do NOTHING except click a few buttons and CONGRATULATIONS! YOU HAVE BEAT OUR STORY! HAVE FUN KILLING AND MURDERING MORE ORCS! I'm sorry if I ranted there, but I really am disappointed with the way this game turned out.
