I have literally never been so in love with a 2D virtual novel man in my life. Sids story literally broke my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ heart Into 1 million pieces and then reattached it. It has been a very long time since I sobbed so hard over a video game. I went into thinking it would be fun and a bit creepy and it is those things, but it was also shockingly emotional and deep, which I didn’t necessarily expect. And that’s nothing against the game devs I’ve just played my fair share of visual novels, and not all of them hold up to the same standard that heart cage does. All five stories are very different but all of them tell an overarching story that is beautifully written and absolutely heart wrenching at times. I have about 43.1 hours into the game and I’ve totally completed front to back and it is easily one of the best games that I’ve played this year if not my absolute favorite. 10 out of 10 I can’t wait until Clark’s route gets updated sometime in 2026!

Too many DLC's for a game that should have come with all of the items and such in the first place. The game is fine but it's bare. The music is good. The "game" only takes up about a 1/5th of the screen which is hit or miss depending on who you are and you can make it smaller. Wasn't for me personally and wish they would have simply added everything with the initial purchase.

Literally such a cute and fun game while having an immersive story that you have to keep playing to unravel and really explore. The more mushy-babes you create, the more the story unfolds! It's rich, delightful, dark and cute all rolled up into one lovely game! Hope y'all enjoy as much as I am!

Literally fantastic. Very long, but soooooooo good! I have even more hours put into the game than I have recorded on steam and I'd argue that I'm still barely scratching the surface!

Simply put, the dialog is made from AI, none of the people who actually worked on the game have *any* credit whatsoever, the game is clunky, prioritizes style over substance and honestly? I wish I hadn't spent my money on such a bad game with an even worse team and company behind it. Truly? Stardew Valley or Fields of Misteria are far more worth the money. *And* actually pay and give credit to their employees, unlike Pixel Sprout Studios.

Honestly I love this game enough that I bought it for two systems just so that I didn't have to stop playing it. Normally I don't find games of this type to be especially relaxing due to the amount of time in a given game day, needing to get as much material in a day, complete tasks like terraforming before nighttime. Littlewood has exactly none of that. The game truly runs at your own pace. Time only moves if you yourself are actively doing certain tasks. For instance, time will move forward as you farm or mine, but not while you're terraforming.

Another is the freedom of the map. You are not limited in the same way that you are in a game like animal crossing. I found the gameplay to be much smoother and more coheasive than many similar games on the market while keeping it light and feeling like a FUN activity rather than just another thing to have chores on.

10/10 recommend. 13/10 Because I can marry the villain!

I found the game fun at first and still think the game itself has marits IF you can get past their "Premium" content which was NOT a thing until this most recent update. I paid for the game and actually for the upgraded version and I would personally refund ALL OF IT. I absolutely despise the greedy money hungry business practices that this game and others from the company employs. Save your money and just buy Animal Crossing or Stardew Valley. Your money will be MUCH better spent and without BS "premium content" that ultimately means and does absolutely nothing. In fact there are entire genre's of games that do this exact style of gaming simply better and without the BS. Just pirate The Sims like a normal person. You'll have a much better time AND The Sims have mods. Which, DV does not and never will allow.

If you're a Cozy Gamer or a fan of Indie Titles like Cozy Grove this is the game for you! It's cute, fun, dark and fast while still being reasonably difficult for those who want a challenge. For those who don't it's still a great little management sim full of dark rituals and plenty of bloody murder. ♥
