This game just isn't it compared to the prequel.
Map design is far worse with no secrets to find unlike the first game (especially when you factor in the visual quality to the all-white Lunarian base levels, those actually hurt my eyes.)
Visual quality feels like instead of a Doom Wad unlike the first game, you what feels like a cheaper Unity product.
Gunplay felt noticably worse (Tri-barreled shotgun can only be shot once, Revolver and Cirno Fumo feel inaccurate with the crosshair, and P90 felt like the only accurate weapon)

I can say UI has improved alot from the first one and it is satisfying defeating Yorihime (SSiB readers where you at?) after getting to fight Toyohime in Touhou 20. But for now, this is going to be a negative review.

Overall, unless you are a massive Sakuya fan or a Yorihime hater, this game just isn't worth it. It's not that great for gunplay, killing enemies isn't satisfying, and it feels like so much potential has been missed.

this game is the primary reason why touhou fans seem to be masochists.

Love this game, a good sequel to Scarlet Curiosity but not worth buying full price.

DEATH TO THE FALSE EMPEROR.

Your first playthrough will be the most fun you have (Remilia is the easier character,) then after that, the game kind of just falls out in terms of replayability.
