Gameplay is a little simple but going around collecting everything while chased by eldritch horrors is still quite fun.

The only Borderlands game I've actually enjoyed... Telltale Games did a great job adapting the franchise into an engrossing choice driven story

A HUGE down grade after finishing the original Tales from the Borderlands, I can't even with this one.

First you suck and hate it, then you try to grind power and fail at even that, then you push through... and find more pain, but PAST THAT you survive your first 2 minutes into that final swarm, you become unkillable and see how far you can push it... this is one HELL of a game!

Arcade pinball rogue-like or lite (I can never remember the difference)
WAY more fun than it has any right being, kinda like Cult of the Lamb in some ways - building up a town inbetween runs. I recommend it.

Deserves GOTY, 10/10, the JRPG for people who don't normally play JRPGs.

Think of it as a double A version of Skyrim set in Arthurian legend. Quite fun combat and build crafting eg one perk makes movement speed buffs also buff your spell power, or bows auto-critting on blinded enemies, etc. Main thing right now are the bugs - the game needs more patches so I'd hold off a month or three then buy it or throw it on your wishlist and buy it when it goes on sale.

Really want to like this game, but it keeps crashing for me.

Essentially better starting gear for an even easier start. The class's stats aren't bad - Hallowed Knight with a bit extra faith where Hallowed Knight is slightly better to try different builds off of. I ended up not using it as Warwolf fit my playstyle better, but that extra faith can be useful to heal Kukujin instead of break her stone form like I did accidentally in my 1st playthough (tried to use Empyrean Grenades cause I didn't have enough sacred faith to heal her with spells)
