I get there's a lot of nostalgia for this game, but I think the devs are lazy with this steam release.

You can literally download this game free from the internet and use SDLPAL or DOSBOX yourself. No quality of life mods or anything is included. In fact, it doesn't even use the latest version of SDLPAL or DOSBOX, so by doing it yourself, you get a better experience.
