(I haven't played the released version yet, this review is for EA version just before release)

I enjoyed playing the game for more than a hundred hours, just relaxing and meditating alone - grinding, building, growing food... The game is clunky, really clunky (yes, I'm looking at you, tree-grabbing and manual missile assembly), needs a lot of polish, but it's still worth it.

I didn't play Campaign or Co-Op mode as those are direct opposites of what I want from the game.

What sets this game apart from other similar games:
1) Food growing. You need to plant a seed, wait for it to grow a bit, then replant it into hydroponics, wait for it mature, and then plant it into a field, and THEN plant it into a dome (not always, depends on the plant type).
2) Vehicle operation. For a car, you can put rocks in its trunk, drive to a grinder and unload. And, for a rover, you can operate its crane to mine, load and build!
3) Dangerous weather. Yes, it strands you inside and you might start feeling bored, but the first few times you actually feel scared to come out, hearing the wind outside...

Also, the in-game help actually helps quite a lot, as some of the game's mechanics are not intuitive.

A wonderful, if somewhat rough, game about traversing the flooded world completely alone. Only you, your trusty ship, and many platforms you can dock and explore.

It requires quite a powerful CPU as there are a lot of physics-based objects in every location. Sometimes I caught myself behaving like a cat - pushing objects off the edge and watching them plummet down :D.

A perfect game to relax and enjoy the solitude... Unless you hear that freaking phone which I really want to grab and put into grinder because it keeps randomly ring and distract me!

...Also, you can grow humans. In vats. Probably for your own version of Matrix

My first thought when I randomly saw the game on Youtube: Wait, is this a modded Rimworld? :D

Turns out, this is the game that I wanted to play for a long time.
You're an AI of the ship and live in its server room. You can build the ship any way you want, mine, trade and refine resources, automate the production and take care (or not) of your crew. And it is your decision whether you're going to be benevolent or evil.

A calm and meditative game that strongly reminded me of Alien Legacy, a DOS game which I spent a lot of time in.
I loved the concept of having a mothership (even if, like in Alien Legacy, it was somewhat underutilized in my playthrough), setting up trade routes between planets and colonies, and balancing resources. This was precisely what I wanted to play.
I also loved that you get a full resource refund when you disassemble a building.

There are a few mild issues I had with the game:
1) There isn't a table to see your transport ships (I constantly had to switch between all colonies trying to find them). Also, you can't rename them, so it's not always evident whether you give orders to a stopped ship, or the one that's on a trade route.
2) I would also loved to have a screen-wide table of resource balance in every colony. Including global resource balance. I had to make a separate Excel table to make sure I don't have a deficit.
3) I felt there was a bit of a mood disonance with Bob. I mean, this creature starts killing your colonists, and the first thing your scientists do is endearingly call it Bob
4) The resource depot's hitbox is slightly extended out of its bounds in the sides, so I always had to leave a small gap between it and other structures.

Overall, I enjoyed playing it!

This is an amazing game!
It has one of the most extensive non-human character generator I've ever seen, it's cozy, cute, and it has a lot of QoL features.
And it really helped me to relax and forget about the real world troubles, even if for a little while... exactly what I need the most...

This game feels like I'm playing Settlers 2 again, which is great!
Apart from a few complaints about the interface, I liked it!

I was genuinely impressed when the game offered me to play in the city I live in, AND gave me the actual, real map of it, with all streets and buildings!
Finally there's some motivation in learning what's outside of my house!
