Game gets ~50-30fps in most matches, making my reaction times extremely delayed. Its also overheating my system.

Day of purchase, the game releases Redsec: a free-to-play version of the game to pull players into the battle-royale version of the game and make it feel less dead than other battle royales' —unbeknownst to me until 2 days later.

This game is all hype. Its worth maybe $30, not $70 and purchasing it was a poorly-made financial decision in the middle of our current economic crisis here in the US, If it would go on sale, I probably still won't buy it, I'd rather spend the money on MegaBonk or Duckov instead.
Many times through the last few days of playing it, I've stated out loud "I hate this game," and although I've played many games throughout the years in which I've come to develop a love-hate relationship with the games themselves, I genuinely mean my words this time.

The game is SEVERELY under-optimized, the control sets are confusing and poorly mapped, Re-mapping the keys seems to help sometimes, but most of the time backfires because half on the settings in settings are all over the place and nothing makes sense.
I thought it was me for the majority of the hours spent playing it, so I tried to improve on it myself. As I was peer-pressured into buying it; I thought it was just "new game, skill
issue." I've made improvements on day 1 to see if I could make the best of my experience. Sensitivity Conversion, graphical optimizations, reduction of Ambient Occlusion/reflections/bloom/vignette/etc. Game is very Cinematic, but I see no value in a PvP multiplayer game being cinematic if my experience isn't centered around the Campaign.

I went ahead and changed my CPU's Thermal Paste for the first time in 3 years to see if that would improve my frame times; didn't work. I tried turning on Intel XMP, it kinda fixed the frame timing issue, but my CPU is dated by about 10 years and changing it now would cost me about 300-400 USD just for the upgrade.

Playing on Low settings makes the game nearly unplayable as the enemy players impossible to see, so I have to play on Medium-High settings. If your game needs AI-frame generation to be considered "modern" or "playable", You're approaching game development wrong. BattleBit Remastered does Battlefield Better, just waiting on the perpetual meme of Oki's next update at the end of this month.

Self-built and maintained PC: i7 8700k @~4.7Ghz on all cores (watercooled too), 32G RAM DDR4 @2.4Ghz, XFX Swft Radeon RX 6700XT @2450Mhz undervolt, 12G VRAM @2Ghz. Win10 ESU because my motherboard does not have the necessary driver support on Win11. 265Hz Monitor, my other Auxiliary monitors died.

Players outside my personal friend-groups don't speak in-game, I've tried reaching out and communicating with them, but they don't reciprocate. Thought they would behave like the players in the Open Beta did, but that really doesn't happen.

I playtest games for a living, mostly under NDA, this is nothing new to me.

For those of you thinking I'm a CoD fan: I don't play the "PlentyOfFish: Game Edition," you can check my steam hours.
