Here is a list of things I encountered in my short time playing:

Lag (See specs as to why this is stupid)
Bad Networking (Players jitter around, movement is choppy for remote users)
Lack of content promised (No procedural grip, No easy tutorial, Simulations are subpar, no Iraqi Reload, etc)
Somehow incompatible with Quest 2 Controllers (The tracking rings constantly hit each other when trying to use most guns, Quick Menu just does not work without remapping it.)

And of course, 3 whole years to get this game at least semi-playable just for the excuse by most moderators inside the server that it is "Early Access."

In what universe does Early Access = Unplayable

So much lost potential, I really do want to see this game succeed but this launch has been awful, and everything is subpar from what was promised.

A great game to play with friends! If you're feeling a little ballsy then join a public world, it's a mixed bag on what you will get.
Creativity, socializing, and playing are all what this game is. While EAC makes things difficult, using great features like OSC have been an amazing experience overall; Whether with FBT Tracking, Heart monitors, or even your currently playing song right above your head!

There are good and bad about this app, try not to get yourself too carried away! (I say this while have 400+ hours)
This game is overall a great idea of a metaverse, be yourself, make content, defend whats right! Lets keep this positive ball rolling for now.

Im sure the VRChat team wont dissapoint.

Edit: I now have 900+ hours, they did in-fact dissapoint, still a good game though.

Its a full-body app that's not a scam or difficult to use for once, what else is there to say?

Seriously though, it's an amazing app, even if you already have tracker's their mixed-tracking will probably save you a lot of hassle! (Looking at you, 3 Vive trackers..) Fallback tracking if the original trackers are lost or dies, works with aligning other trackers, too! SlimeVR for example is not something you can use mixed tracking with (as of writing this, unless you use the buggy feeder app), but it's super useful for aligning yourself, and in my experience, gives better tracking!

Overall amazing product, amazing team, and amazing community!

NEW REVIEW:

Originally marked this as recommended due to its ease of being modifiable to use your own VRMs, unfortunately the developers seemed to have pushed an update which has either completely broken or flat out denies any mods the access to allow that. Saw a lot of potential for a app like this, but the developers seemed to be more focused on making a quick buck off of the Miku DLCs (Which still costs 15 USD), and their own little "Mascot", this software is essentially useless for most people now, and I am sure many people regret trying to give this software a chance, seems however these guy's simply do not care for their community. No plans for modding? Don't plan on sales.
Big-Tech has done it again.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:

Its a cool program for having a little buddy on your desktop to interact with, that is if you are willing to piss off the developers by modding their software. By default, you only get one character and cannot change it, not even much functionality. However there are multiple modding resources available that allow you to upload your own VRMs to the software. You also have to pay for the Miku VRM as a DLC, which as of writing this, is exactly 15 USD.

"Why are you recommending it then?"
Because I believe people deserve to know that you arent limited to just the stock and paid VRMs in the software, only thing that really makes it good is the modding community behind it!

Overall it is a neat little software that has a bunch of potential if it is officially opened up to a workshop or other modding platform without the risk of getting kicked in the balls.

Just don't let the devs know you have your own VRM and you'll be fine, as it has been shown they remove that type of content posted on their (steam) page.

Gonna be honest, there has been quite a few improvements along the way with the optimization of this platform, however it still is in dire need of... quite a lot of it. That is really my only current complaint, but other than that, its fine! Keep going, Resonite!

While this game is amazing in every way, there is not much support for graphical changes, whether thats removing motion blur, or sunrays, even just some lighting aspects in general. You cannot make them any higher either. I feel like this is something that should be focused on a tiny bit more, as it is crucial for more players to join the fun! Im not sure WHY there is not an option for "Low Quality" or "High Quality", as there are options for worlds to be "Mobile Friendly".. and some things in the files even talk about a "Low Quality" setting(?) Anyways though, the game is pretty good other than that, and while it cant be a competition to VRChat, it can be with a few changes!
