Before you buy this game, have a look at the top "positive" reviews. They're all jokes about how difficult and/or frustrating this game is, and they're not kidding.

I wanted to love this game, but after one hour of spawning, walking for 5 minutes, and getting one-shot from a bush without any indication of where/how it happened, it became clear that this game is a camping simulator with a tank that occasionally rolls by. I didn't kill a single person (at least, I don't think I did, because the game has absolutely zero information displayed to you if you kill someone or someone kills you.) in the hour that I played. I didn't contribute to a single capture point, or do anything of value to the match because I just KEPT WALKING AND GETTING SNIPED in a massive field with no cover. Yeah, you might say "That's what you get for walking in an open field".

That's this game, that's the whole game. If you like that, it's a great buy.

The Freemium game "Enlisted" was much more fun and I recommend that instead.

It's always a danger to compare a game to the perfection that is "Slay the Spire" but The Dungeon Beneath has the right elements to impress immediately, and keep the player driving to unlock additional characters in an attempt to form a perfect team. It's a squad-builder roguelike puzzle and it works beautifully.

This game has been criticized for its high RNG, but as a casual strategy game I found it very engaging, especially for being free. I kept saying "One more map..."

My first and only experience with this game was to play a round where it was 5 v 2 and we were being spawn-camped. If you ever thought "You know what would make a FPS better? Pay to win! I'm sick and tired of a level playing field." then this game is for you.

Instantly removed from my hard drive.
