I recommend this game only if you enjoy the previous Arkham titles. This game will satisfy your need for more of the same, without introducing anything new. The lack of polish truly shows, with a couple game-breaking bugs (even this far into the game's life-cycle) and a general lack of polish in the overall mechanics. I would like to give the new developers the benefit of doubt, but considering how smooth and outright elegant the last two games felt, I have to lay the blame for the average to less-than-average gameplay and story directly at the feet of the new developer. This is still the same Arkham Batman we've come to know and still plays like the two previous Arkham titles, but coming from the high precedent that the previous two titles have set, the cracks in Arkham Origins easily show.

I give it a resounding, "meh, it was alright."
