The game is getting better with updates, but fails when it comes to getting people to play.

Honestly a fun and relaxing game. It runs well on the Steam Deck, just wish there was more content.

This is honestly one of the best experiences I've had playing Yu-Gi-Oh! No more duelingbook or ygopro for me. I have played Yu-Gi-Oh! for almost 20 years now, competitively for over 14 years. This is hands down one of the best adaptations Konami has made of the game for online play.

If you're a new player coming to the game, welcome! I know this game may seem confusing or high learning curve. Don't fall for the bait packs and waste all your gems trying to play some Yugi or Kaiba deck.

Don't play this game if you don't have a understanding of current Yu-Gi-Oh! mechanics and archetypes. This is not the playground games you may have played as a child. This is not a slow paced game. You cannot try to play some deck from the 2000's and expect serious results. Do some research and decide if this game is right for you.

For those complaining about players playing combo decks, just use hand traps. Seriously. You won't believe how easily a Droll & Lockbird will ruin your opponents play.

For those who say the game is pay to win, just like in any card game, those who have access to the better cards do tend to win more, HOWEVER (Cimo reference) this game legit sets you up with the ability to build a tier 1 deck from the start of the game. You earn more then enough gems to contruct a highly competitive deck assuming you don't waste your gems and resources pulling from non secret packs and crafting stuff like Blue-Eyes or Dark Magician.
