EA added a kernel-level anti-cheat to a game that's mostly played single player. I never consented to this and they did not warn me about this.

Terrific experience, 10/10 GOTY material. Rip and tear until it is done!

I also love cats and hate fascism.

Man, it feels bad writing this, but I really hate having to refund this game.

This game isn't horrendous, of course. It's still One Finger Death Punch. It just feels like they overdid basically everything that made the first one really cool, which made me regret buying this.

I'll just put down the points that annoyed me the most:

- The menu is an absolute eyesore. I know that the menu in the first game wasn't top of the line, either, but it had a certain charm to it. The new one is just so colourful and crammed full of stuff that it just has too many things to look at. It feels like it was made in three hours in a basic Java GUI course through copy-pasting assets. This isn't charming, this looks like a bootleg Chinese game from the Google Play Store.

- And when the menu wasn't enough, the game just fills your screen with all kinds of flashes and effects during fights which just feel like an information overload. It's tedious to look at the screen for more than ten minutes.

- You have to get through 16 tedious tutorial missions before you actually get to fight in the main "story" and in survival. Why am I forced to do the tutorial, first? Can't I just get right down into survival?

- In the middle of the fight, your character will just start doing random stuff. Stuff like breakdancing, suddenly running, grabbing boxes, and annoying slow-motion effects that really break the flow of the game. I am in the middle of a fight, and suddenly I get on a horseback out of nowhere and am prompted to chop heads off like it's the Saharan cavalry, resetting the tempo of the game and just punching me right in the nuts.

- Why add guns into the game? This makes the game feel less like a kung-fu game and more like a Newgrounds stick figure animation from 2009.

- To add up on the last point, there's this annoying lag after you've used all your bullets / arrows / knives, in which you can't move or do anything.

The new animations were actually the most annoying thing of them all. Oh god, not the animations.

- Speaking of lag, the animations are extremely slow and annoying. When I'm in the middle of a fight with about five hundred guys coming at me, the last thing I want to see is an animation of my guy doing a jumping kick that lasts for three whole seconds. I could've been killing more guys within those seconds!

- To add to the slow animations, they all start from a "starting position". Yeah, I know this is to add to realism. But what was so great about the first game, was that the poses were near instantaneous, which was really great for the flow of the game. You'd see the cool pose, and still be able to click to continue the fight. In this game, like I said in my point above, you have to sit through your guy preparing, jumping and then kicking, for example. It just feels like a giant roadblock in my adrenaline rush.

Please, for the love of god, just buy the first game. The first game flows well, has a nice charm to the visuals, has simple but cool weapons, basically everything you need. The new game feels like I'm getting blueballed every five seconds in combat, all while suffering from epilepsy.
