Overall a pretty fun game, especially with friends. As a solo its certainly a challenge, but a fun challenge.

Just straight up don't buy this game lmao.

This is what I've encountered so far in my 8 hours of play time.

• Dynamic music wasn't in on release
  
• I'm unsure if its just me but the initial loading of the game takes forever on a black screen?
  
• No remote play for controller.
  
• VS Mode doesn't have those goofy images of the sunflower holding the controller, and the zombie eating the controller
  
• Tombstones in whack-a-zombie levels are bugged sometimes where you use grave buster and it doesn't go away. Making you use 2 of them for the same grave.
  
• In the puzzle section, you can't have both an I, Zombie Endless streak and a Vasebreaker Endless streak saved concurrently. Only one or the other which is super annoying.
  
• In Vasebreaker, sometimes I can't use my cherry bombs in very critical moments where zombies are about to step into the house. Seed packet is fully recharged and I have plenty of sun saved.
  
• In Zen Garden, when doing any action for the plants(watering, giving fertilizer, bug spray, playing the gramophone) the coins just pop out before the action is even done.

These are just the things I've personally encountered, add on the fact that many others have similar or even more bugs encountered in their playtime. For $25 in my country, I can never in good conscience recommend anyone at this point purchase this version of the game.

You are better off playing the GOTY edition, or the plethora of fan mods that do this game a better service than whatever the hell this is. I gave this game a very fair shot despite all the negativity towards it, I really wanted this to be good, however it just isn't at all. Heavily disappointed, thanks PopCap & EA.

Got the game about 5 years ago and had no clue what I was doing. I re-downloaded the game after watching some videos and seeing how the game has changed a lot. Played with a bunch of friends in custom lobbies and even matchmaking games, just having fun with friends was already the best part of playing this game.

Simple social deduction game. Really love lying to my friends in the game and the game play overall. Only problem i have are unstable servers which I'm sure are getting worked on.

I never knew fear, until I played this game. This game made me scream out loud when I was getting killed. So definitely doing something right. Just for sure needs polishing and this game is gonna be really really good!

Absolutely fun game. Best when you have friends playing with you as well. Really enjoy and love the satisfaction from grinding. Hoping for more things to come, most especially in the next upcoming update in Nov/Dec of 2020

I've played this game over 5 years now(Mostly on mobile and not on steam for when i played on PC, only just bought this not too long ago). Though it feels the same. It is still so fun after all this time. The nostalgia is the best part when I play. This game will never get old for me. Absolutely get this game because it is a must have for anyone who loves strategy and casual fun.

Even after all these years, it's super rewarding to play and being able to pull off plays is very satisfying
