The game is okay, i did a ton of the content in the game, and there are a ton of god Individual storylines, but the world overall feels flat, like none of your choices matter, its not quite "the chosen one for everything" skyrim is but there are a lot of boring snoozefest quests, and a lot of points where things that should effect the universe at large.. just... dont. i could go on but ill shorten it to buy it if it drops to 30$ or cheaper, or wait until some DLC comes out and maybe it can help round out the blandness.

This is going to be a salty rant here, but this game is super frustrating, but it's just not a game for me. Enemy players feel like NPCs because all they do is shoot you, i have NEVER in all my time playing met someone friendly, it's just frustrating there is no "community" of the standard servers, people play it like a battle royal for seemingly no reason, sure you can join the community servers that are PvE, but they are boring because once you have a little gear zombies aren't a real threat. If they would just introduce, any mechanics at all that would provide an incentive for KoS-ing every person you see, i might enjoy the game. It doesn't even make sense to KoS already but it's what every player does, because there is no danger other than players. This all comes together to be an experience i want to like but don't. There is a market for this game, and it's the same people who love battle royals, but with way longer games and no definitive win. I wish i could say that the community and the fun you will have will make up for the fact that its just a big empty map to explore, but the community is a bunch of murder-hobos. one last pet peve I just have to get out of my system, food and water both drain much too quickly, like when you spawn you have about 45 minutes until you starve all the way to death, it's just weird especially when playing on a realtime server

The replay value on this game is incredible and due to ROR2 being in developement now im replaying this again a bunch and having tons of fun.
