The game is very good and well put together. Basically a casual Extraction Shooter with a nice aesthetic. It's still an extraction shooter though, so expect to get your cheeks clapped on the regs. My main issues are:

1. Boring af quests - Huge missed opportunity. They are basically all very boring and just sprinting around interacting with yellow objects in the world. They are occasionally vague so you can either run around loads wasting time to find the objective or just look at a guide. Very few of them teach you much about the game in an intentional or interesting way and they kind of just end with the last one I did being as boring as the first.

2. Inventory management is just not fun - Yeah I get that the game is about looting and crafting but it's still a very dull system. Tonnes of items, hard to tell what's worth selling/recycling without prior knowledge (how was I supposed to know I needed a deflated football???) and the system basically results in lots of boring busywork between runs.

3. Free kits probably should have some friction - I don't know if Tarkovs timer is an actually good solution but there needs to be a bit more to encourage you not to just go in with a freebie and sprint towards the good stuff. In my experience it also means most raiders you kill drop rubbish loot.

4. The combat is very hit and miss - Often it comes down to who shoots first. In close quarters it's quite tough to outplay someone if they've already sprayed you with a clip from a stitcher. 3rd person camera just leads to campy playstyles. While it's easy to put people down in close quarters, it's the complete opposite at range, it's just whoever runs out of healing first.

5. Why did they even put the rattler in the game? It's just so much worse than everything else.

Overall it's a solid foundation that they've said they'd build on. I'm sure some of my issues will be resolved and others not but I think it's worth a punt if you're interested.

Amazing game. Will not hold your hand, does not care if you succeed, will not tell you that note you read 3 hours ago was pivotal form progression. Do not use a guide, you will rob yourself of the satisfaction.

If you play Cain, you should be put down.

Amazing shmup. Feels like cave meets crimzon clover.

Tried playing but kept getting network issues. Could not connect to the server, keot getting booted out and the lobby system was intermittently available. Will update when I actually get to play it.

Cup + Head = PTSD

Amazing Game. Got 100% in 10 hours but i enjoyed every second of it. Would recommend to anyone who is interested in 3D platformers. It doesn't bring much new to the table but it refines and expands upon what makes a 3D platformer great!

Amazing game, less than Stellar Port.

I really enjoyed the game. Gameplay, writing and feels included. Sadly the port does not do it justice. Things like tabbing out of the game causing it to force windowed mode are annoying and looking like upscaled 720p can be overlooked but in all it doesn't do the game justice.

One thing that irritated me to no end was that the game runs at 60fps (For me) but all of the cutscenes are in 30fps. Really jarring.

Despite all of that, I recommend the game to anyone who loves games as a medium.

Another fantastic game by Behemoth! The art, humour and game design are all on point as always.
