Thankfully you can still get past the stupid 3rd party launcher they added. Browse local files and launch the game directly from the exe, it loads the game and expansions no problem.

Trimps is one of the best idle games, This is the game that hooked me after cookie clicker, and it got about 15 quintillion more hooks in me (ouch). If you have played this in browser, and are wondering why should you play it on steam, i have two good reasons.

1: lower end laptops
If you have a laptop that is mostly stationary then this doesn't apply, but on my laptop, windows likes to put background tabs into a paused state. This doesn't mean loss of progress, but if you switch in it has to load a bit and might go into time warp.
With this version, the game is kept at full speed at all times, which is great!, also I think it is the fastest possible way to go through time warp. Normally for me a time warp of 11 hours is like a few minutes, but on this release, I got through it in much faster.

in short, the performance is a lot better than in browser
2: bones
Lemme first say that i have gone through a hundred portals, I haven't paid one cent through all those, I only bought bones as a donation to the creator. It should be clear, even if you spent like 50 dollars it wouldn't be worth much unless you actually play the game, it just makes certain things easier. I just like that this version makes it safer in my mind to support the dev.

Overall I do highly recommend if you are a new player
