This game basically takes everything good about Dying Light 1 and 2 and smashes it all together, it's a bit shorter, but this is to be expected with a side-game rather than a full-fledged Dying Light 3. I'm kind of happy it's shorter too because nowadays Dying Light 1 and 2 both feel really long to replay for me personally, maybe I'm just getting old or something. I personally enjoy this game more than Dying Light 1 and 2 in terms of gameplay and feel in general, Dying Light 1 used to be my favorite but I like this game a lot in terms of almost everything, don't get me wrong, Dying Light 1 is still iconic, but The Beast just feels a lot better in terms of changes to make it feel more modern and a little less stiff and janky at times, it's still got that Techland jank, but in general the game feels more natural and organic than the previous two entries to me. Dying Light 2 I had a lot of issues with initially but came around to liking it in the end and Dying Light: The Beast really does feel like Dying Light 2 but better in a lot of ways, especially when it comes to the map and combat. It's also sort of a silly thing to say but yes you should probably play Dying Light 1, it's DLC and Dying Light 2 to fully appreciate the story, characters and interactions within Dying Light: The Beast, but as a long-time fan since Dead Island 1 to basically this? I'm very happy and greatly anticipate the next entry to the franchise of Dying Light. Also; if you're not sure about the price-point, I'd honestly just wait for a sale, so far it's only had a 25% off sale for it which isn't a bad price-point, but if you're hurting for money you can always just wait for a bigger sale, either way, had a lot of fun with this one, greatly enjoyed the experience (was honestly kind of refreshing after experiencing Dying Light 2 on launch) and I hope whoever else picks this game up enjoys it as well.

pretty fun, played/streamed it with two of my friends, had a good time, kind of want to play more of it with like five people total, will try if I can manage to get enough friends together for it

Early Access Review
At the time of typing this I have roughly 38 hours of play-time in Skate via early access and I think I personally like Skate 3 a little bit more, but this game is still nice. It's got a pretty bare-bones mission structure due to it being in early access but it teaches you most of what you need to know and is all-around a good tutorial for many features in the game. Not a huge fan of the "story" if you can even call it that or the writing so far but hopefully they'll add more to it later on and it'll get better over time as they expand on it. Honestly I'm just glad to be able to finally play a Skate game on PC without needing emulation, I enjoyed the previous Skate game titles on console but have no interest in playing them on console anymore since I currently primarily play games on PC now. The graphics can be a bit scuffed from time to time, but again, hoping these issues will be ironed out over time, also not a huge fan of the art direction/style of the graphics, I think it's fine but I don't really like the cartoony look, I feel like it isn't a good continuation of the previous games style in terms of looks, but overall I think this game is good, fun, and it's free for crying out loud, what more could you really ask for? (Other than keyboard and mouse support I guess, but good lord I wouldn't even bother, can't imagine playing any skater games on anything other than controller personally, but that's just me)

Early Access Review
Honestly probably one of the best zombie games of all time, I was very hesitant on this game for many years until a friend gifted me it. I didn't really give it a chance due to me not really liking isometric-based games, was never a fan of that kind of camera angle in the games I played but despite that this game made me realize how much that doesn't matter and how much the game itself does. This game is incredibly in-depth and extremely customizable, while I still struggle to play it single-player because I get lonely, the multiplayer is phenomenal if you have literally just one other friend to play it with. I've played it with a server I hosted with one other friend, I've played it on a server my friend hosted with many different people who've became friends, all-in-all this game is extremely enjoyable and I think everyone should give it a chance, it can be very cozy building a base, reading up on skill books or just customizing your home, it can be very stressful when taking on a horde, it can be many different things but overall it's just a really solid game and it's only getting better over time, highly recommend.

Ah, another iconic firearm ripped straight from the base game of Sniper Elite 5 with no changes whatsoever and added as a pay-walled option for this game, I feel about the same way with this gun as I do with the 1911, should've been free and should've been an unlockable gun in the base game rather than being paid DLC.

Not a huge fan of having a sidearm as iconic as the 1911 pay-walled, especially considering it was free and the first sidearm you start with in Sniper Elite 5, not to mention it was basically just copied from Sniper Elite 5 and pasted into Sniper Elite: Resistance with no real changes, kind of scummy if you ask me, should've just been unlockable or free in my personal opinion.

I think it's okay, but if I'm to be honest with you; you're better off just getting Sniper Elite 5 if you haven't already, in my personal opinion the maps are better in 5, it's cheaper and usually goes on sale for much less than this game considering this game is "new" (I use the term "new" lightly because this game really feels like Sniper Elite 5 but with a worse-to-same roster of guns and a different protagonist, who mind you, was a side character from 5, and different maps, which I personally don't feel are much better than 5's and also re-use a lot of assets from 5, not to mention how when it comes to invasions; some scenarios are heavily stacked against you due to map design, as if the odds weren't already stacked against you while invading a host with focus mode and whatnot)

Haven't played much of the multiplayer or survival since I was never a big fan of either in Sniper Elite 5 so I didn't think I would be here either, tried both, still not my cup of tea, not to mention they seemingly still have hackers and cheaters despite the new anti-cheat, so expect more of the same in that regard, but from a mostly campaign / invasion stand-point, this game just feels like Sniper Elite 5.2 with not enough new additions to warrant the higher price-tag, not to mention locking some of the guns they copy & pasted from Sniper Elite 5 into this game behind a pay-wall like the Kar98k and M1911 which are pretty iconic and some of my favourite guns ever which feels really bad to have to buy as DLC if you actually want them like me. If I had any recommendation for a way to play if you really want to play this game specifically and not just Sniper Elite 5 for some reason; I'd say give it a go on game-pass and see how you feel considering it would be cheaper on your wallet, just personally don't think this game is worth the price unless it's on a deeper sale (I only got this on a 25% off sale, hardly justifiable to me, but I'm a fool so I did it anyway, I'd urge you to not do the same)

TLDR; Just play Sniper Elite 5 instead, it'll be less buggy and probably a more enjoyable experience to you, if you already have, well, you're really not missing out on much, this isn't Sniper Elite 6.

Early Access Review
I can’t recommend buying this game in its current state, but I can recommend trying it out via its current free weekend event it’s got going on right now, genuinely hope it gets better over time since it is an early access title after all and I am a big fan of the first game, but my expectations are very low due to how many titles are having issues with performance just by existing on the Unreal Engine 5. Zombies currently don’t have footsteps sounds or they’re 10 times quieter than your teammate’s footstep noises (very loud by the way, holy) and they constantly spawn in from ridiculous spots, whether they materialize on top of a roof when you’re not looking so they can drop down on top of you to be a nuisance or you just so happen to turn your back for too long for one to magically spawn in a room you just cleared out (yes, this has happened to me). I will say on the bright-side at least zombies aren’t actively spawning and de-spawning within the player’s sight (an issue in the original game due to limitations of the source engine I would presume) but it’s still a problem in general with how spawning is currently treated. I had fun playing this on a free weekend with a friend and solo but I am not buying this until it is in a much better state or heavily discounted and I recommend you do the same, for now I still prefer the original No More Room in Hell, at least the walker zombies don’t lunge at me in that one despite the janky melee combat that everyone complains about (I honestly don’t think it’s that bad in the first game)

TLDR: Try it out via a free weekend event or just go play No More Room in Hell 1, hopefully 2 gets better over time.
