I've been playing this game since it was on Beta and even tough progress on fixing bugs, adding new things to the game is slow it has been improving since launch. DayZ changed the whole survival genre and it it a great game for survival lovers. Sometimes if you are a little more alone it can be a little boring dying all the time but i think that learning the map, the game, the mechanics, where people spawn, where is the loot and where are the PVP areas is quite interesting and pretty fun exploring.
One thing i absolutely love about dayz is the stories it can make. I've had such encounters that i still remember to the day and thats pretty awesome. RolePlaying can be challenging when the other players seem kill hungry but if you push the same button enough it you can get some pretty amazing interactions and who knows....maybe some new friends.
Even tough i was mad at this game for the slow developing i still love it with my whole heart and it will always be my favourite survival game. <3
