Hi-hi-hi! I've been meaning to ask for pretty much 2 years now but, i want to ask if i could have permission to start working on a backstory for your Starbound Familiars species! I've been a big fan of them since i discovered them and even wrote up my own character! It always felt off that there's no explanation on how they came to be so i'd like to change that. Please respond at your own pace!

Hello there! I've been working on a Starbound mod to expand the content for your Familiars race mod. Currently it's just adds new guard tenants up to tier 4 and expands the furniture set. I wanted to ask before hand for your permission to upload it to the workshop. Naturally this is because the furniture objects heavily reference your style and in a few cases utilize sprite work from the original mod. If you add me I can DM you the sprite sheet if you want to look things over.

I don't really have specific animal types for the heads. Actually, familiars have a lot of different body types and designs in general, loosely based on various animals mixed with other themes, but the limitations of making a character creator and not committing to a bunch of different 'species' of familiars made it so this was the best option.

Yeah, it's an open species. I haven't put up any details on them recently so anything out there is pretty outdated to how I have them now. ^^

At least, lately I'm working on getting through them in my free time since I got a job, but the pay rate for my job is a lot better than what I get for commissions so I'm re-thinking how I'll do those in the future.
