If a PSN account was to be required, it should have happened from day one rather than well past release day.

Edit: Sony listened, so I can recommend the game again

I purchased the game after a couple updates for a sale price around $35. At that point, the game felt worth that price.

With the 1.3 update, No Man's Sky finally feels like what I want it to be. There are still some small places I would change, but the game is a lot of fun. The questing system gives new purpose to a game that was previously all about exploration. For the current $24 price, I would definitely pick it up. For the full $60 price, I would hesitate unless the exploration aspect really speaks to you.

Make no mistake, Hello Games hasn't given up on the game and it isn't the same title that we saw at launch.

edit: And with 1.5, the game is basically brand new. Like I said, HG hasn't given up on the game.

Early Access Review
When this game launched, it was great. Poorly optimized, sure... But a lot of fun nonetheless.

A lot of time has passed now, and the devs have focused almost entirely on content and poorly executed balancing without much optimization. Come to find out, they've been spending all of the Early Access money to create even MORE content before fixing all of the problems.

And the best part? It's PAID DLC. For a game that still "isn't complete."

The developers at Wildcard are using the Early Access banner as an excuse to market an incomplete product that actually had a "full release" when it first hit Steam.

Though I've only played for a few hours so far, I'm very happy with this game. The Division is similar in play to Destiny, and that's really cool considering Destiny isn't available on PC. Looking forward to playing a lot more of this game!

It's a game about water, and the water is completely broken. Never gotten past a single level.
