as someone who was all aloof and snide when i first heard this game being talked about prior to release, it's hard for me to say much else than all the hype was well-earned

just an incredible game, solid gameplay with fun puzzles and combat, but where it really shines is the story and characters. the main character, lea, manages to be one of my favorite characters in all of fiction despite being largely unable to properly communicate

honestly a well made game engine, extremely effective at what it aims to do
however, everything about how the developers handled the present bigotry in the game was awful
lgbt+ people exist, and are not a "sensitive subject" that should be silenced. simply properly moderate your chat rather than destroying it entirely like cowards (or literally just adjust your automatic filters it would be that easy)

really high barrier to entry but its good if youre better at learning and adapting than i am
