Early Access Review
Currently waiting on a little more content, but I do enjoy what is available as of now. It's a good combo of FFT and rogue-like deck building. I am a sucker for FFT which is the real reason that started to drag me in and the solid gameplay is what is going to keep me checking in. Keep up the good work fellas

To be a Stretcher
A being of immense strength
One who always knows the path they will follow
A savior of the weak
The one whom will punish the wicked
All shall feel the wrath of the Stretchening

If one is chivalrous enough, they will acquire all achievements in a single playthrough. For that is the Stretcher way.

I have enjoyed this game a few times. The map is nice, the dlc offered are worth it in my opinion for the long run, and the memories you can make with or without the friends you may or may not have are worth being logged into your vault that is your brain.

The fear of Karl crossing continents to witness your imminent demise as he brings 4 other stacks to support his bloodlust will give you the nervous sweats if you are not ready for it. The ever-growing greentide that comes from the wastes (usually led by Grimgor) to raid your lands and sack your cities can have you ripping your hair out if left alone. The beastmen can finally instill the slightest bit of worry instead of laughably running their armies at your cities and dying instantly. The sneaky skaven can rot your cities from the inside as they scurry through your sewer systems.

Point is, if you enjoy Warhammer (or even if you don't know anything about the lore) you can still play this tactical game and have fun doing so. The possibilities can be endless, especially with the support of the modding community. I have started many campaigns and have honestly finished less than half because I just get interested in other what if scenarios. I enjoy most of the campaigns I play and it's because of the variety that can be there. If you want a pack of mammoths to plow through cities, you can. If you want to rain enough arrows to turn the skies dark (not literally) you can. Make your own story as you play and come up with your own motives. Fuel the games you play with your imagination and you dump many hours into this series.
