Game is great fun with friends. Probably worth it still solo, especially now that completion rate can be done solo.

Desync is/was an issue, not sure if that's fixed with today's removal of Epic requirement.

A lot of people were (rightfully) upset with the surprise Epic login requirement for online play but that's now removed. :)

And with that, democracy reigns supreme.

Game is good, and can go back to being recommended.

I was introduced to this game by a friend and have enjoyed playing it in multiplayer. Although characters are not bound to specific worlds, I do wish that there was an option to sync quests with the host so that both players would get credit. While hosting, currency can be shared or split from the host, and it would be great to have a similar feature for quests.

Still I did really enjoy the game. Completing the mines was fun and there are plenty of random events added, and there was always something to do every day. The magic system is a nice touch as it offers a convenient way to perform tasks that would otherwise be tedious, such as watering plants or mining rocks. Also the snaccoons (road blocks you bribe to move with food) are cute af so I can't even be mad at them for being in the way...

For players who find the time constraints stressful, the day length can be customized from 15 to 40 minutes (default of 20). The ability to adjust the day length really helps to prevent days from feeling too drawn out or too short.

I have run into a couple of issues-- largest being playing in a mix of multiplayer and singleplayer on the same character can sometimes desync the time of quests, making them fail earlier than they should or not be completable. Main example being the quests given to you by characters with the objective being to meet them somewhere tomorrow, and the deadline is set to the end of tomorrow. On one occasion I had it still saying to meet them tomorrow when the deadline was today, and I couldn't complete the quest. These specific quests cannot be repeated (though failing it gave no penalty, and they're glorified cutscenes), so that was a real bummer.

All in all though I've still really enjoyed playing this game and wish it had more visibility. I'd definitely recommend checking it out, and I'm excited for the patches and polish to come.
